Join Pensacola Opera’s Artists in Residence and Director of Education at Barnes and Nobles Booksellers for a free and family-friendly taste of the upcoming operas. These production previews include an informal discussion about the opera as well as musical tastes sung by our Artists in Residence.

Gallery Talks:
Throughout history, visual art and music have influenced each other profoundly. Jointly presented with the Pensacola Museum of Art, these informal lectures will include presentations by an art historian and Pensacola Opera’s Director of Education as they discuss the relationship between visual art and music during the period in which the Operas take place. Held at the Pensacola Museum of Art, these talks are free and open to the public!

  • Rigoletto: Sunday, March 4 at 3:00 p.m.

 

Opening Night Receptions:
Our opening night receptions give you the opportunity to meet the nationally acclaimed artists whose talent, determination and sheer athleticism bring our operas to life! Join your friends after the opening night performances for a catered reception. Space is limited and reservations are required. $35 per person

Matinee Brunch:
Enjoy this popular pre-performance champagne brunch at Jackson's Steakhouse and a lively presentation led by Pensacola Opera’s Artistic Director Kyle Marrero before Sunday matinee performances. Space is limited and reservations are required. $40 per person
